Dear Exchange Club Leaders and Exchange Club Center Directors,

At our national convention in Jacksonville, Florida, your National Exchange Club Foundation held the 10^th Annual Gala...for the Children. This event raised money in support of Exchange’s Programs of Service. This year’s event was well attended, and we anticipate the Gala will continue to provide resources for worthwhile projects.

As a way of returning these funds back to our membership and centers, the Foundation is offering four $500 grants.

• Two grants will be awarded to Exchange Clubs to be used for charitable or educational programs in your community.

• Two grants will be awarded to Exchange Club Child Abuse Prevention Centers to be used in addressing challenges to eliminate child abuse and strengthen centers. Centers are encouraged to pursue projects that enhance program evaluation efforts of their Parent Aide Program, e.g. of program evaluation tools or data base development. Other compelling program needs may also be pursued.

Enclosed you will find the grant application form. Please fill it out completely and mail or fax it to Debbie Baldwin, Foundation office manager.  Applications must be received by December 9, 2009.  Winners will be announced at Exchange’s Mid-Winter Conference in LaQuinta, California.
